Microblading is known by many names. For example, microstroking, feather stroke brows, 3D brows, and micropigmentation. It is the process of manually implanting brow colored pigment. This pigmentation is carefully selected to match your skin tone and natural color into the dermis. Finally, sterile disposable needles are used to produce the appearance of natural brow hair.
The level of discomfort is client dependent but is often very mild. Prior to the procedure, I will apply a topical anesthetic to numb the area. I will re-apply if necessary during the procedure. Everyone responds differently to an anesthetic. The sensation has been described as light cat scratches. However, some claim to not feel anything at all.
After the procedure, redness and slight swelling in the area are normal. Clients describe the area as feeling similar to a light sunburn. In addition, clients may take Tylenol but not aspirin or ibuprofen. Read more on or blog post about this very topic!
As a precaution I don’t perform Microblading or permanent make
up on pregnant or nursing women.
Microblading is a permanent makeup technique that mimics the appearance of natural brow hair. Whereas, ombré brows achieve a powder-filled look that is gradually darker at the base and tail of the brow. While being lighter at the top and bulb of the brow. Ombré can be soft or intense, depending on client preference.

Yes, I pre-draw your eyebrows before I start! You will approve the shape and color ahead of the treatment. I do a one hour consultation with each client beforehand.
All my instructions are on my website. Please be ready with preparation before
appointment. It is very important for good results. In addition, there are tons of helpful tips and information on my blog!
It’s great for that! However, I recommend sending me a photo of your eyebrows without makeup so I can review. Then I can let you know whether you’re a candidate.
If you have very oily skin, large pores, or a tendency to keloids, I do not recommend microblading. I do recommend instead ombré brows. This will give you better and longer-lasting results.
